It is difficult to describe a ski school like ours.

67 ski instructors, men and women, aged between 19 and 65, from 150 cm to 210 cm tall (do not ask us how much it is in feet!!!!), body weights which vary from 47 kg to 150 kg, so many different interests which go from playing cards to studying Balzac’s life….. in short, a place were it is impossibile not to find a ski instructor who best suits you. But if you want to know more, here is the story…

The Sauze d’Oulx Project was born in 1990 almost as a joke. It was founded by eight, at that time “young and cool” ski instructors and, as if by magic, it functioned, probably because there were two snowboard National instructors, six coaches and a lot of enthusiasm.

Since from the very beginning the school has been addressed to teaching to little kids and snowboarders. Then little by little it has become also a meeting point where to socialize after a day spent on the slopes.

Thanks to good luck and maybe also because our ski instructors feel like being at home, the staff is getting bigger and bigger. Many young people join in our school carrying with them a great and new knowledge, enthusiasm and a friendly attitude.

Since the number of little “rascals” increases every year we have organized the Formula Club and the Week-end Courses. Then, to help our kids to become ski instructors when they grow up, we organize other special courses which transform our little kids who started skiing with us into our collaborators.

In addition to the above mentioned courses we have a very special one: the “ Progetto Sciabile”, which started in 2004 sponsored by BMW Italy (the famous German car industry). It is a project which wants to help disabled people in their approach to the mountain and to skiing. It is free and higly safe.

In the ski season 2009-2010 we celebrated our 20th birthday and, if it is true that when you enjoy yourself time passes quickly, then we have had a lot of fun because these years with you have gone really fast!!!!
